Status Report

Yield Guild has been able to defend, maintain and grow its position even during the bear market. The Yield Guild Games (YGG) Treasury Update outlines the status of Yield Guild’s treasury of assets as of April 1, 2024.

The YGG Guild Protocol

The YGG Guild Protocol is the method by which each of these onchain groups are managed and verifiable. With Onchain Guilds as the group primitive, dapps can build on OGs and use the Guild Protocol as the membership oracle. YGG Guild Protocol becomes the Chainlink of web3 communities. The YGG Guild Protocol allows web3 builders to easily target, coordinate with, and reward web3 group en masse to drive adoption and usage.

The OG controls a treasury wallet which may contain assets for members to use so that the OG can earn rewards as a collective to share in the guild success.

As the OG coordinates on questing platforms such as YGG’s Superquests and GAP, this onchain activity earns them non-transferrable NFTs known as Soulbound Tokens that build the OG’s reputation and status.

Network Validator

YGG plays an important role in securing three gaming-specific blockchains, namely, Ronin, Oasys and XPLA.

YGG has earned over 720,000 RON tokens from its principal, representing over US$2.8 million.
At its peak, YGG had over 3.8 million RON staked on the Ronin Network, though this figure was reduced in March of 2024
Since the decrease in YGG’s Ronin staking, Oasys now makes up 80% of YGG’s total staked funds.
XPLA is currently 2% of the total staked funds with YGG validators
